About the role
Creators Mela, from Clyromedia Private Limited, produces creator and brand video content at scale for audiences across India and Nepal.
As a Video Editor you will turn raw footage into tight, scroll-stopping videos: reels, shorts and long-form edits built for retention and designed to match each creator's style and the brand brief.
Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into reels, shorts and long-form videos for creators and brand campaigns
- Build strong hooks, pacing, captions, sound design and transitions
- Apply brand guidelines and incorporate client and creator feedback quickly
- Deliver edits in the right formats and specs for each platform
- Manage project files and keep assets organised
- Stay current on editing trends, effects and formats
Requirements
- 1-4 years of professional video editing experience, with a portfolio of short-form work
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
- Strong sense of pacing, storytelling and audience retention
- Ability to work to tight turnaround times
Nice to have
- After Effects motion graphics skills
- Colour grading and audio cleanup skills
- Experience editing for creators or influencer campaigns
